Meet Our Principal
About Miss Laura
Miss Laura trained professionally at SLP Dance College, graduating with a Musical Theatre Diploma, and has gained a Masters Degree in Creative Dance Education. Miss Laura currently teaches at PQA as a Musical Theatre teacher and teaches GCSE Dance at a local high school. She has been teaching all aspects of Dance and Musical Theatre for many years.
Miss Laura is currently taking a Teaching Diploma through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. This will allow future students to take Grades 1-7 in Ballet, Tap and Modern. This provides students with professional qualifications in classical styles of dance.
Some of Miss Laura’s theatre credits include Vivienne Kensington in the production of Legally Blonde (Garforth Playhouse), Gretchen Weiner in the production of Mean Girls (York Opera House), Cilla The Musical (Leeds Grand Theatre, Jeff Pope). Whilst Miss Laura has performed professionally her true passion is teaching dance to a professional level and sharing her love for Dance with her students.
